From real couples.

★★★★★

“Jud read the room better than our DJ ever could have. The dance floor was full from the second song until last call. Worth every penny — book him before someone else does.”

— Megan & Tyler
Stillwater, MN · Outing Lodge at Pine Point

★★★★★

“Our processional song wasn’t on Spotify and Jud learned it for us anyway. He showed up two hours early, dialed in the sound, and was still gracious when grandma requested a polka. A total pro.”

— Olivia & Marcus
Hudson, WI · The Phipps Center

★★★★★

“We hired the duo for the ceremony and dinner, then the full band for the reception. Seamless transition, zero awkward silence, and the dance floor never emptied. Our friends still text us about it.”

Questions couples ask.

Most weekends I’m playing somewhere within 90 minutes of the Twin Cities — Lakeville is the home base. I cover all of Minnesota and western Wisconsin without a travel fee, and I’ll travel further for the right wedding (just ask).

Solo acoustic starts at $X,XXX, the duo at $X,XXX, and the full band at $X,XXX. Final pricing depends on date, venue, hours of coverage, and travel. Saturdays in peak summer book up first — I’ll send a real number for your specific date within 24 hours of your inquiry.

A signed contract and 25% retainer locks in your date. The remaining 75% is due 14 days before the wedding. I use a clean, lawyer-reviewed contract — nothing weird buried in fine print.

Yes — every package includes one new song learned on the house (typically your first dance or processional). Additional learn requests are available for a per-song fee. Send me the song when you book and we’ll talk about the arrangement.

Absolutely — that’s actually the most common booking. I handle processional cues, vow mics, and recessional, then transition into cocktail-hour music and right through the reception. One pro, one sound system, no awkward handoffs.

Yes. Every package includes a full PA, wireless mics, monitors, and basic dance-floor lighting. Larger venues may need additional production — if so, I’ll flag it in your quote and quote it out, no surprises.

Outdoor ceremonies are great — I just need a covered spot for gear (a tent, gazebo, or porch works). My equipment isn’t rain-rated, so we’ll talk through a Plan B during the planning call. Direct sun on a 95° day is hard on instruments and players, so shade matters.

In nine years and several hundred weddings, this hasn’t happened. But: I have a network of vetted MN/WI artists I trust, and the contract guarantees a comparable replacement at the same price if a true emergency keeps me from your wedding. Your day is covered no matter what.

Check my date.

Tell me about your wedding. I reply within 24 hours with a real quote — not a brochure, not a price PDF, an actual answer for your specific date.
